Underground extreme metal act Misantropia Miscelânea returns with its most personal and visceral release to date. The new full-length album, My Confession, is now available on all major streaming platforms. Entirely self-produced, the album stands as a bold testament to creative independence, unfiltered emotion, and the cathartic power of sonic extremity.

Spanning the past five years of personal and social turmoil, My Confession is rooted in the complexities of family relationships, personal traumas, and the unforgiving reality of life on the streets. Each track is a raw outpouring of inner conflict and survival, painted in shades of emotional decay and brutal honesty.

Influenced by the visual intensity of classical painters like Rubens and Guido Reni, and the dark, aggressive sounds of bands such as Wartimes, Lifelover, Devourment, Six Feet Under, and Obituary, My Confession blurs the lines between art, suffering, and sound. The album creates a dense, atmospheric wall of noise, layered with heavy riffs and emotionally charged vocals that echo with desperation and defiance.

Every element of the album—from its raw production to its stark lyrical themes—embraces a DIY ethos, the result of countless hours of re-recording, fine-tuning, and battling technical limitations to achieve a sound that’s as honest as it is harsh.
