Taiwan metal band Efflore release new single "The Chair Ouija"

Efflore, a metal band from Taiwan, based on Melodic/Symphonic Black Metal with some experimental touches. Efflore’s music incorporates and uses Taiwanese traditional musical instruments and symphonies, and there is also a gong percussion group used in Taiwanese temple fairs during the live performance. The music creation is inspired by horror stories, urban legends or historical events in Taiwan. Efflore is also committed to unique and carefully arranged live performances, ensuring that each performance brings a unique experience to the audience.

This single is the band's first attempt to incorporate the Yue Qin (also known as the Moon Guitar) and traditional Taiwanese percussion. The lyrics also use Taiwanese and the legendary incantation to summon The Chair Ouija. For this reason, the band added traditional Taiwanese percussion to all old songs to keep the songs consistent in tone and changed the style.
