Swedish stoner rock band Repeat release release debut album both digitally and on vinyl

Combining elements of stoner rock, alternative rock with repetitive riffs and lyrics, the band aims to appeal to a wide range of fans of stoner rock, desert rock and alt rock music of all kinds.

Swedish stoner rock band Repeat release their debut album, which is congenially also called 'Repeat'. The tight riffs and drums replace each other and both Swedish and international media have paid attention to the previous single.

Repeat is a newly formed stoner rock/alternative rock band from Sweden. The band was founded by Torbjörn Hallberg, Stockholm-based guitarist and singer, and Johan Holmberg (formerly Liberator, the well-known Swedish ska rock band from Malmö, Sweden).

Combining elements of stoner rock, alternative rock with repetitive riffs and lyrics, the band aims to appeal to a wide range of fans of stoner rock, desert rock and alt rock music of all kinds.

Repeat says: "The idea behind the album is to provide a short and explosive experience of repetitive aggressive songs. We really prefer the short formats and a direct presence. The mix of stoner rock and alternative rock with loud very fuzzy guitars, rumbling bass and aggressive yet stiff drums, gives its own unique progressive style.”

The self-titled album is released both digitally and on vinyl. The album was produced by Joakim Lindberg at Studio Sickan in Malmö in April 2023. It was mastered by Magnus Lindberg at Redmount Studios.
