Stadaconé unveils a hilarious Folk Metal single rich in history: "Cannonball Terror"

Stadaconé, the hilarious folk metal sensation known for its unique blend of French-Canadian historical storytelling and head-bobbing riffs, is thrilled to announce the release of its latest Single, "Cannonball Terror". Filled with wit, humor and a generous dose of rhythmic metal, this single promises to take listeners on a wild ride through the annals of New France history like never before.

Stadaconé, which takes its name from an ancient aboriginal village in present-day Quebec, has carved out a niche for itself by imbuing its music with tales of the past, presented in a light-hearted and entertaining way. Cannonball Terror" continues this tradition, offering a raucous exploration of the oddities, triumphs and misadventures of the colonial era in North America.

Led by the charismatic Carl Damphousse and Jean-Michel Dessureault, Stadaconé deliver a high-flying performance that combines historical popularization with a healthy dose of irreverence. From the rousing "Hunt Hunt Hunt", to the hilarious "Drink, Drank, Drunk (due for release in May 2024)", each track testifies to the band's ability to educate and entertain at the same time.

"We wanted to shed light on the lesser-known aspects of New France's history while remaining fun and accessible," explains Jeremy Roy, the band's bassist. We hope to

inspire listeners to find out more about the past while swaying to some killer riffs.

Cannonball Terror" is scheduled for release on March 24, 2024, and will be available for streaming and purchase on all major platforms. Fans will also be able to catch Stadaconé live at their show, bringing their unique brand of folk metal hilarity to stages across Quebec (for now).
