Crafted in Ludwig’s home studio near Darmstadt, Rocks is a masterclass in experimental sound design. Using his Headrush Looperboard and a vast array of modulated guitar tones, Ludwig has woven an intricate sonic tapestry. Drawing inspiration from the psychedelic rock of the '60s and '70s, with a nod to punk and wave, Rocks is an album that celebrates exploration and emotion.

Each track on Rocks unfolds as a vivid sonic story, drawing listeners into unique and evocative soundscapes. Fragile...Strong takes you on a melancholic yet vibrant walk through the introspective corners of your mind, while Don’t Wake the Beast conjures the dramatic image of a cloaked wizard risking fiery chaos to awaken a dragon. Death of an Old Friend offers a poignant farewell to lifelong habits and memories, making way for transformation. Born in the early hours, All Night Long captures raw, unfiltered creativity, and Tea for Two channels the weary lament of grumbling, weathered guitars reflecting on the state of the world. As the album reaches its climax, Canned Tomatoes readies the listener for the explosive finale, paving the way for Fever Jazz, a sprawling 10-minute odyssey of auditory ecstasy and exhilarating dissonance.
