RAY OF LIGHT's journey has been marked by both triumph and tragedy. In the midst of creating Salute, the band suffered the heartbreaking loss of their co-founder, guitarist, and songwriter Robby Boebel, who passed away in 2022. Determined to honor his legacy, the band pressed forward, enlisting the exceptionally talented guitarist Jörg "Warthy" Wartmann to complete the album. Warthy’s contributions not only brought the album to life but also solidified his place as a permanent member of the band.
