Prog/core metal band from Switzerland, Lasskahl, shares new single "Clouds Above Chains"



Lasskahl is a progressive metalcore (prog-core) band from French-speaking Switzerland.

With a desire to present a senic performance of sound and light, all while looking for the perfect mix between breakdown and delicacy as well as a complex part in syncopated rhythms. The band tries to blend dierent styles in a hypnotic atmosphere.


BIO

Lasskahl is a Prog/Core band from French-speaking Switzerland consisting of Ludovic Coker (guitar), Philip Calvet (guitar), Yves Bidaux (drums), Kilian Rustichelli (bass) and Stefano Montemari (vocals).


Created by Philip Calvet and Michael Calvet in 2014, joined by Victor C. and Kilian Rustichelli the band was initially composed of musicians who all grew up in the Yverdon region of French-speaking Switzerland. The band released their rst EP Oikoslave in 2015

recorded at Conatus Studio (Vladimir Cochet).


After a few concerts (2015-2016) on local stages and the Full Metal (Nouveau Monde), the band separates from his singer and his drummer. After some travels of the dierent members around the world, the band is reformed. New drummer and a set of instrumental tracks (2019-2022).


New singer and start of the release of the new EP - SEASONS.

March 2022 - Single - Labryrinthe Gates.

June 2022 - Single - Grudge, Gift of Suering.

November 2022 - Single - Faces From the Past.

March 2023 - Single - Clouds Aboves Chains.


These titles will be released as individual singles between 2022 and 2023. They are recorded by Lasskahl courtesy of Ludovic Coker then mixed and mastered by Simone Pietroforte (Divergent Studio), then Vladimir Cochet (Conatus Studio).

The suite. (2023 - ...)Lasskahl is currently working on an album for the end of 2023.
