Philadelphia Post-Hardcore Band Here/Now Release Powerful New Single “Creatures”

Post-hardcore band Here/Now unveils their latest single, "Creatures," an emotionally charged track confronting the struggles with unspoken pain, societal taboos, and the darker aspects of human experience. As a band deeply rooted in the belief that music should provoke feeling and introspection, Here/Now’s newest release reflects their commitment to addressing uncomfortable truths in a way that resonates both musically and emotionally with listeners.

"Creatures" dives into the heart-wrenching realities of mental health, addiction, and abuse, exploring how societal norms often force these struggles into the shadows. With lyrics that reflect the fear of losing loved ones and the anguish of watching others suffer in silence, the track aims to shed light on the pain many endure but rarely speak about.

Here/Now began their journey in 2016 with the release of their debut EP, As Alone As You Thought You Were, embracing the post-hardcore genre with raw emotion and musical intensity. “The goal has always been to create music that would challenge both the band and listener emotionally and introspectively,” says Pat Findley, vocalist and guitarist. Their mantra, "Feel," underscores the band's mission to create a dialogue between themselves and their audience, encouraging listeners to engage deeply with the emotions conveyed in their music.
