Parisian experimental post-rock/doom band Bank Myna release a live video of their track “The Sleep of Reason”

Parisian quartet Bank Myna offer a new facet of their sound universe with this live version of “The Sleep of Reason”, taken from their debut album VOLAVERUNT, released in February 2022. Through a captivating video with slow movements and tight shots, the listener is immersed in the intimate, cathartic atmosphere that the band manages to create with magical intensity during each of its concerts.

The track begins with ambient sounds and a steamy atmosphere, before transforming into a hypnotic maelstrom, where gesticulated tension is fed by abrasive fury and twilight doom. The video, like the music, plays on slowness and increasing intensity, capturing the very essence of the band: raw energy and constantly evolving sonic exploration.

Captured during a concert at the Supersonic Club in Paris on February 13, this year, this live clip doesn't just offer a simple retranscription of a concert, but plunges the viewer into a sensory experience where every note, every gesture of the band seems suspended in time. It's a total immersion that lets you feel the intensity of the moment, almost as if you were there with Bank Myna on stage, shared between thrills and musical revelations.
