After years of anticipation, Non-Divine has officially re-released their debut album Asylum 45 on all major streaming platforms. Originally released in 2007 by Rusty Cage Records, this concept album takes listeners deep into the twisted corridors of a psychiatric hospital, where each track unveils the chaotic and emotional stories of different patients.
To celebrate the re-release, Non-Divine has also launched a full album stream lyrics video, crafted by Andrea Mantelli (known for his work with Destruction, Cryptopsy, Burning Witches, Wind Rose, and Vile Art). Additionally, the tracks “One Man, One Soul” and “Visions” will be re-presented with their original music videos.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by renowned Danish producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Flotsam and Jetsam, Vola, Amaranthe), Asylum 45 blends danceable grooves, melodic guitars, and powerful vocals into an intense sonic experience. Non-Divine’s signature "Insane Groove Rock Metal" sound has captivated fans worldwide, earning the band spots on split albums, compilations, and live performances alongside heavyweights like Dio, Anthrax, Sabaton, Volbeat, Testament, Sonata Arctica, and Queensrÿche.
Formed in 1999 by Dutch musician Ivor van Beek, Non-Divine quickly gained recognition with their high-energy live performances, complete with white psychiatric suits and electrifying stage presence. Their 2000 EP My Obsession opened doors to extensive touring, competition wins, and endorsement deals with brands such as Peavey, Ernie Ball, and Klotz-Ais.
After a period of silence, Non-Divine is back. In 2023, Ivor van Beek confirmed he was writing and pre-producing the band’s second album, while also announcing a new endorsement deal with Schecter Guitars.
With the global re-release of Asylum 45, fans—old and new—can once again immerse themselves in the madness. Feel the grooves, embrace the melodies, and enter the world of Non-Divine—there’s no way back.
