Killers Legion, a progressive thrash metal band from Transylvania, Romania, has just released their second album, titled Ad Infinitum. Known as one of the heaviest thrash metal bands from Dracula’s city, Brașov, Killers Legion was founded in 1996, initially as a death metal group, before evolving into a more thrash-oriented sound over the years.
In 1998, the band released the EP Alter Ego, but soon after, they went on a 24-year hiatus as the global thrash metal movement began to wane. In 2022, three of the original members from the 1998 lineup reunited in the UK, and in March 2023, they released their first official album, Aggressive Discipline. Later that year, Killers Legion also dropped the Sacramental Awe EP, featuring four tracks that further solidified the band’s return to the metal scene.
Now, in 2024, Killers Legion is set to release their second full-length album, Ad Infinitum, on September 26. The new record promises to be even more intense, delivering the heavy, technical sound the band is known for. For fans of Slayer, Exodus, and Vio-lence, Killers Legion is a must-listen, keeping the spirit of thrash metal alive with a progressive twist.
