The German Death/Thrash Metal band Susurro has released their new single “Old Story”, it is an anti-war song that deals with the question, why does history repeat itself and what are wars for? The release was recorded at “AKS Studios” and mixed and mastered by Andy Lux.
The band founder Jack Skaner describes the song: “We find it very sad that there is war in Europe again. That mothers are losing their sons. The paranoia and hatred has arrived here. Why are there wars? What is the point of all this? Maybe we would all be better off if there were no politics and we all loved each other.”

Susurro was formed in 2019 at Allmersbach, Germany by Jack Skaner (vocals/guitar). Soon after Mr. Six-Ell (bass) and Winzent Walace (guitars/keyboard) joined the band and the lineup was completed. The band’s debut album “Erratic” was released in January 2022.
What can you say about this new single?
Our new single "Old Story" deals with what is happening around us. We think at the moment the old story is repeating itself and unfortunately many people have to die because of violence and war. The question is. Why do we let this happen and why don't we do anything about it.
What is the meaning of the single?
It means many to us. And hopefully people will start thinking again.

Start thinking. Start to resist against all dictators and warmongers and their henchmen.
Which inspirations have been important for this track ? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially?
Making music is Jack's heart's desire. He does it with great passion and we often slow him down when he uses too much theatrics. Jack tries to make music his own work of art.

Is there new material coming soon? What can we expect?
Yes, we are working on our new album at the moment. We have seven brand new songs for it. They're absolutely insane. But Jack doesn't quite like the lyrics yet. We think it will be out in early 2023. But next up is the single "Bloodbath," which will be out in October.
