Helladdict: Reviving the Spirit of Classic Metal with a Modern Edge

Helladdict is a metal band dedicated to reviving the powerful sounds of the genre’s golden decades—the ‘80s and ‘90s. With rebellious lyrics and hard-hitting riffs, the band channels dissatisfaction with the status quo while blending tribute and originality to create a unique musical experience.

Drawing inspiration from heavy and thrash metal, rock, and punk, Helladdict is influenced by legendary bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Misfits, The Ramones, La Polla Records, and Suicidal Tendencies, among others.

Hailing primarily from La Florida, Chile, as well as neighboring areas like Macul and Ñuñoa, Helladdict was formed in 2022 when Ignacio Hernández (guitar) and Mark Reynolds (bass) came together with a shared vision. They were soon joined by Javier Hernández (vocals), Juan Barra (vocals), Sebastián Ibáñez (guitar), and Gonzalo Bayer (drums), solidifying the band’s original and current lineup.

Helladdict has already made waves with their self-titled EP, available on all major streaming platforms. Their music has received positive reviews from both critics and fans, validating their commitment to an aggressive and authentic sound.

Currently, the band is working on their debut full-length album, set for release this year. With their raw energy and a distinctive live presence, Helladdict is determined to carve out a place in the national metal scene and beyond.
