"This Stuff Is Poison" will be the name of the upcoming album and you will hear a lot. The songs combine punk and garage rock, indie and even musical references to the 80s wave sound
The Pinpricks are powered by vocalist Ronja's gritty rock voice, which comes through with plenty of power and fierceness, proving that Germany's newcomer Garage Rock band is ready to take on big stages and big crowds.
To date they have done it in more than 100 concerts at the Open Flair Festival, the Kieler Woche, the Local Heroes national finals with bands like In Flames, Beatsteaks, Bad Religion, as well as opening shows for Mando Diao, Thundermother and The Brew beer.
Over 300,000 Spotify streams in over 1,700 playlists, including Spotify's Rock Rotation playlist and over 300,000 streams on Youtube, prove how highly anticipated the third Rituals EP was. The EP was advertised in Germany's biggest rock magazine Rock Hard.
The debut album is planned for 2022. Bait and Hunger has been played internationally on radio stations in the UK, Texas, Boston, Denmark, Spain, as well as Germany's biggest classic rock radio show (Bayern1), Rock Antenne Hamburg, Radio Fritz, Wacken Radio and many more. They have also been featured on podcasts and interviews in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, among others.
"This Stuff Is Poison" will be the name of the upcoming album and you will hear a lot. The songs combine punk and garage rock, indie and even musical references to the 80s wave sound. There are sometimes rude, sharp heavy outbursts and catchy melodies. An extensive review will of course follow here at 'metal-heads.de' when the release is due.
The single "Anyway" rocks like crazy. Here THE PINPRICKS show what kind of energy they have. Singer Ronja and bass player Nils live their music and you can tell that in every single moment. "Anyway" is a filthy rock grenade that ignites instantly and gets stuck in your head instantly.
