The band from Southern Finland, that mix ingredients from alt-rock, prog and metal
"We’re Gonna Die" tells the story of a group of fortunate people who live on top of a hill, above the rest of the population. Although the group on the hill are wealthy, they want more, and their greed leads them to destroy distant lands in search of treasure. Eventually the devastation catches up with them as the fires of their own making surround their lonely hill, threatening to take them too.
The story reflects the real-life situation on Earth that’s seen wealthy countries stand idly by as their actions destroy far-away lands and lives. In the end, none of us, even the wealthy hill dwellers, will escape if this madness continues.
This song is the last single that the band will release before they unveil their new album ‘Of Pearls & Perils’. It acts as a nice bridge from the heavier material they've put out recently, leading into some of the lighter songs that await listeners on the album.
