Forever in Transit, the New York-based progressive metal band, is excited to announce the release of their second single, “Streams of Thought,” from their forthcoming album, "A Coming to Terms." The single, released on June 28th, 2024, is now available on all major streaming platforms, and the band is seeking media coverage and playlist opportunities to promote this powerful track.
“Streams of Thought” is an exploration of the frustrations encountered in the pursuit of deeper meaning or inner peace. The song delves into the complexity of the human psyche, portraying how countless attempts to find clarity can sometimes lead to feeling more lost than before. The track features a driving backbeat with layered polyrhythms, complemented by an introspective and ambient bridge, creating a compelling listening experience.
The song was mixed by Diego Tejeida (TEMIC, Devin Townsend, Mike Portnoy's Shattered Fortress) and mastered by Andy VanDette (Porcupine Tree, Rush, Dream Theater), ensuring top-notch production quality that highlights the intricate details of the composition.

Forever in Transit has also launched a pre-order campaign on Bandcamp for "A Coming to Terms," which is set to be released on September 13th, 2024. The album promises to take listeners on a sonic journey, blending high-energy progressive metal with complex, multilayered ambience. It features returning guitarist Jeremy Schroeder and introduces newcomers, vocalist Chris Lamendola and bassist Daniel Ross.
