"Canciones de Autodestrucción Masiva": A Raw Exploration of 90s Alternative Rock by H237

H237, an independent artist with a passion for music and a DIY spirit, is proud to announce the release of Canciones de Autodestrucción Masiva, a unique album deeply rooted in the diverse genres of 90s alternative rock. This project, born out of years of sonic experimentation in a humble home studio, has already garnered attention, earning support from the S.G.A.E. Foundation and being featured in media outlets such as Cadena Ser’s Cultural Agenda in Andalucía and several prominent newspapers in Huelva.

Despite these accolades, Canciones de Autodestrucción Masiva is the work of a self-taught musician with no formal training, recorded entirely in a small village where the term "indie" is more likely to refer to Native Americans than independent music. Over the years, H237 has meticulously composed, performed, mixed, and sung every sound on this album, with the exception of the track "Revelation," which features a collaboration with Cristina VG, the former vocalist of Cultura Probase.

This album is a testament to the perseverance and creativity of an artist who, without the backing of a record label, manager, or publicist, has crafted a work that defies expectations. The music ranges from classic rock to progressive sounds with electronic undertones, all while maintaining an indie authenticity. Influences from iconic bands like Oasis, Radiohead, and Massive Attack can be heard throughout the album, especially in the closing track, yet Canciones de Autodestrucción Masiva stands out as a truly original and handcrafted indie record.

H237's work represents the soul and madness of a "nobody" daring enough to achieve the impossible. The album's diversity lies in its very contrasts, with songs in both Spanish and English, and a sound that evolves as the album progresses. It's a record for true music lovers, those who appreciate the nuances and depth of alternative rock and indie music.
