Toronto-based thrashers Canadian Thrash Cartel proudly announce the release of their latest single, “Bathed In Blood”. After releasing their debut EP, “Time Is Zero”, in February of this year, “Bathed In Blood” showcases how much the band has matured in a such a short period of time. While the band continues to embrace the raw energy that defined the early years of thrash metal, "Bathed In Blood” kicks things up to a whole new level.
“Bathed In Blood” delves into the dark history of Elizabeth Bathory, the 16th noblewoman who was infamous for torturing and murdering over 600 innocent young women and bathing in their blood to retain her youth. Her actions earned her the nickname, “The Blood Countess”.
The song was released on July 1, 2024 (Canada Day) and has already received a significant amount of praise from the metal community. “Bathed In Blood” has already outpaced the band’s debut EP in terms of both streams and song purchases.
