Bank Myna Unveils ‘Burn All The Edges’ – A Haunting and Visceral First Glimpse into Upcoming Album EIMURIA

Experimental post-rock/doom band Bank Myna returns with a powerful new single, ‘Burn All The Edges’, an abrasive and visceral track that serves as the first glimpse into their highly anticipated sophomore album, EIMURIA, set for release on April 25 via Medication Times Records, Araki Records, Stellar Frequencies, in partnership with Modulor.

Following the release of their debut album VOLAVERUNT three years ago, Bank Myna dives deeper into the realms of raw emotion and sonic intensity with Burn All The Edges. The track is an exploration of rupture, a confrontation with inner turmoil, and a visceral act of deconstruction. Through three crashing chords—each note resonating like a tear—the song immerses listeners in the depth of an internal fracture, where everything collapses with no apparent hope of repair.

With a structure unfolding in three distinct acts, the song’s lyrics evoke a profound struggle, a split identity, and a blurred line between reality and the intangible. Its dense production and raw energy create an oppressive, suffocating soundscape, amplifying the intensity of an inner rebellion that grows until it inevitably erupts. The relentless repetition of the phrase “burn all the edges” embodies a cathartic defiance, a refusal to remain bound by limitations.

Accompanying the release is a music video directed by Paul Nizan, which takes an abstract and symbolic visual approach, departing from conventional storytelling. Inspired by the avant-garde films of Stan Brakhage, the video mirrors the track’s raw energy through distorted imagery, heavy effects, and organic, luminous textures, offering a visual experience as intense and enigmatic as the song itself.
