The Swedish studio project ArcterrA, led by multi-instrumentalist and composer Henrik Nygren, proudly announces the release of its second single, "Echoes." Following the success of the debut single "A World in Ruins," ArcterrA continues to carve its path in the realm of progressive rock and metal, blending atmospheric and cinematic soundscapes with hauntingly ethereal vocals.
"Echoes," released on September 20th, features the mesmerizing vocals of renowned American singer Katie Thompson, best known for her contributions to Fallujah's critically acclaimed album Dreamless. Her rich, evocative voice enhances the track’s immersive sound, drawing listeners into a world of introspective lyrics and intricate instrumental layers.
Henrik Nygren, the creative force behind ArcterrA, writes, performs, and records all music in his home studio. As with the first single, the process begins with Henrik crafting the instrumental and lyrical foundation, which is then sent to the vocalist for recording. Katie Thompson's vocal parts were seamlessly integrated into the final mix, with mastering handled by the legendary Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios, ensuring a polished and powerful sonic experience.
"Echoes" marks another milestone in ArcterrA’s evolving journey, showcasing a perfect balance between progressive rock’s complexity and the emotional depth of cinematic soundscapes.
